I get a lot of questions about the products that I use to create my cookies. So I decided to make it easy for you and list them all here in one place. These are products that you will see in my videos, and possibly in future reviews. I am also listing products that I use in my business on a daily basis. Feel free to send me an email if you have any questions on these products, or if you’ve heard me use or talk about something that is not on this list.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. I assure you, I only use and promote products that I use myself. If my opinion should change, or I find a product that I love even more, I will update this page. Thank you.

Cutting

I make most of my own stencils for my cookies, which is super easy with my Cricut Explore Air. It is easy to create and cut plastic and silkscreen stencils with this machine.

3D Printer

I make 90% of all the cookie cutters I use for my cookies. The Crealty Ender Pro 3 has made it easy for me to not just create custom designs for my customers, but allows me to keep my costs lower because I’m not having to buy and ship cutters from online vendors. I can make them from home for pennies on the dollar, which means savings for my customers.

Classes

Craftsy has some great cookie classes to get you started on your cookie decorating journey. They also have a ton of other classes for all your cooking and crafting needs.

Stencils

For my silkscreen stencils I use 100 mesh silkscreen. Many use the 110, but I have found better results for myself using 100 mesh.

I prefer heat transfer vinyl (HTV) over other vinyls because even the “permanent” vinyls don’t seem to last on the silkscreen. I have found the ThermoFlex Plus in Frosty Clear gives me the transparency to see my cookie underneath with the durability the HTV offers.

For my plastic stencils I use the .007 mil Grafix Clear Craft Plastic. I like the thicker material because it allows me a thicker layer of icing for my stencils.

And to store all of your beautiful stencils, I use a 1 1/2” binder and these BCW Protective Pages. I just add a piece of card stock in each pocket so the stencil stands out, and use my DYMO label maker to keep it all clearly labeled for me.

Mixer

I was looking for a mixer that had enough mixing power, could handle a few batches at a time, and not take up my entire kitchen. Enter the Bosch Universal Plus Mixer!

Packaging

In the food industry, it is not always easy finding ways to be sanitary, efficient, and eco-friendly all at the same time. That is why I am proud that my heat sealed cookies use a bag and labels from PURE Labels that are both compostable and biodegradable.

And since I print my own labels and stickers, I use this great new service from HP called Instant Ink, where they send you cartridges once your out, not monthly! So you won’t end up with 10 sets of cartridges because you forgot to postpone your subscription. I’ll never have to worry about having the ink to print my labels again!

Logistics

Square - I use Square for all of my transactions and invoices, as well as for my free online store for flash sales and pre-sales. By using this link, you and I both get to process $1,000 without any fees!!!

Quickbooks - To keep my business receipts and transactions organized and ready for taxes, I use Quickbooks. Use this link to get 50% of Quickbooks Online and Quickbooks Self-Employed for 6 months!

Trello - To organize my inquiries and active orders, I love using Trello.

YNAB - If you think budgets are just for your personal finances, think again. You Need A Budget (YNAB), has helped me in take control of my money in both my home and business.

Organization

Be sure to check out my Highlights on my Instagram page to see how I use some of these tools.

The ArtBin containers have been a dream for organizing all the small things I use for every order. I have one dedicated to all my piping bags and clips, another for cake and cupcake piping tips (in case I ever start selling those again ;) ), and another for seasonal small packaging items.

I use the smaller ArtBin containers for brushes, fondant tools, and sharp tools I don’t want lying around.

I have found having a home for everything is not enough. It must be labeled, or things start to make their way where they don’t belong. My Brother label maker is the best! I can make labels from my desktop or iPhone. making it easy to label things everywhere in the house! So convenient.

Airbrush

I use The Cookie Countess airbrush system and love it. I have both the 4mm and 5mm guns.

I also have a master airbrush system, and I got the ABEST quick disconnect set to make that one quick disconnect so I can airbrush multi layer stencils all at once, before changing to the next cookie. So time efficient!

Tools

I have used Americolor Food Gels since I started my baking journey over 12 years ago. The colors are always vibrant and versatile. I use these gels to color my icing, to paint on my cookies, everything! And when I want to add dimension, I use the AmeriMist airbrush colors.

Another great product to paint on cookies are Sugarprism Edible “Acrylic” Paints. The coverage is amazing, just like real acrylic paint! The vanilla flavor just adds to already delicious cookies.

For detail painting I use PME Fine Craft Brushes. I’ve tried A LOT of brushes, and these have kept their shape the best, no crazy stray bristles to ruin those fine details.

For edible pens with an actual fine tip, not just smaller tip, I use the Rainbow Dust Food Pen. It is great for outlining, fine details, and easy writing.

I love using reusable products whenever possible, and I use these AmazonBasics Silicone Baking Mats to bake on and these Coolnice Silicone Baking mats to roll out my dough.

When mixing icing, I use these Anchor Hocking glass bowls with lids. It allows me to let my colors develop before putting them into bags to use on cookies.

The Cookie Companion Book is worth getting for the color chart alone!! But this also has tips and tricks to help you step up your cookie game!!

If I need to store my dough, I use these Zip Lock Bags. They are large enough to hold a few of the large sheets of dough that I roll out.
